The Four of Us and Isitha: The Enemy are set to deliver explosive storylines on 26 October, 8PM to 9PM, as Ntsiki’s fixation on Banzi pushes her over the edge, while the Sokhulu family faces a devastating tragedy that will change their lives forever.

With her emotions spiralling, Ntsiki turns to Lethabo for comfort. However, what begins as a moment of vulnerability quickly becomes a nightmare when a message from Banzi declaring his love for Lethabo sends Ntsiki over the edge. Consumed by jealousy and heartbreak, she kidnaps Lethabo, leaving the Dhlomo family frantic with worry.

As panic sets in, Banzi discovers that Ntsiki is behind the kidnapping and steps in to rescue Lethabo. But just when it seems the situation might be under control, Ntsiki takes things to a terrifying new level by holding the entire Dhlomo family hostage with a gas cylinder!

but when Bulelani realises that Nomsa is trapped inside, he makes a heartbreaking decision to rush back into the burning house to save her. Nomsa eventually finds a way out, but Bulelani is left trapped in the inferno. Overwhelmed by the sight of his father’s home burning, he breaks down as the flames close around him.

In a devastating turn of events, Bulelani loses his life in the fire, leaving his loved ones shattered and the community reeling from the consequences of its own actions. As grief takes hold, the question remains: who will take responsibility for the destruction and a life lost?

Isitha: The Enemy bids farewell to Bulelani, it also honours veteran actor Bra Kere Nyawo, who has been part of the show’s journey since its days as The Black Door. His departure marks the end of a significant chapter, celebrating his contribution to the production and the character’s final act of courage, which leaves viewers with a heartbreaking and stellar performance.

STUDIOCANAL has announced the international launch of Shaka iLembe: Zulu King, South Africa’s record-breaking isiZulu-language drama series, ahead of MIPCOM 2026 in Cannes. The studio will introduce the acclaimed series to international buyers for the first time, while unveiling a first look at its highly anticipated third season.

Produced by Bomb Productions for MultiChoice, a CANAL+ Company, Shaka iLembe: Zulu King tells the origin story of King Shaka kaSenzangakhona through an authentically African perspective, created by African filmmakers and historians and told primarily in isiZulu.

The series has become the highest-rated drama in DStv history and one of South Africa’s most successful television productions. It was also the most-searched TV series in South Africa in 2023 and holds the record for the most SAFTA wins by a drama series in a single year, with 12 awards, including Best Drama Series.

Season 3 is set four years after the events of Season 2. With Shaka’s kingdom expanding across Southern Africa, the new season explores increasing British and European influence while introducing historical figures and kingdoms including Moshoeshoe’s emerging Basotho Kingdom, King Faku’s Mpondo Kingdom and the settlement of Port Natal. Queen Nandi and Shaka’s powerful aunt, Mkabayi, remain central to the story.

The new season features Lerato Mvelase as Queen Mpikase, Aiden Scott as British trader Henry Francis Fynn, Conrad Kemp as Lt. Francis Farewell and Wonder Ndlovu as Prince Mpande.

SPINNERS Season 2 will air across more than 45 countries spanning French-, English- and Portuguese-speaking Africa, France, Overseas territories, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, and in five language editions: the original English/Kaaps/Afrikaans, French, Swahili and Amharic dubs, and Portuguese subtitles. The scale of the release reflects CANAL+'s wider ambition to bring African stories to audiences around the world.

Season 2 raises the stakes for Ethan (Cantona James) and his crew, who have swapped the Cape Flats for the bright lights and bigger dangers of Johannesburg. The rollout will continue on CANAL+ channel and app from October 26 in France and its Overseas territories (Reunion Island, Mauricius, the Caribbean, New Caledonia and Polynesia) and also in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, giving SPINNERS one of the broadest rollouts of any CANAL+ African original to date.
